Data we collect

Newsletter forms collect an email address and optional name. Claim submissions collect the claim, optional source URL, optional email, consent, submission time, and technical anti-spam data processed by our hosting provider. We ask you not to submit private medical information.

Why we use it

To deliver requested editorial updates, process submissions, prevent abuse, measure aggregate conversion performance, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

Processors and retention

Netlify may process form submissions and hosting logs. Approved analytics may process privacy-minimized event data. Newsletter records are retained until unsubscribe or operational deletion; rejected claim submissions are deleted on a scheduled basis unless needed for abuse prevention or law.

Unsubscribe through any newsletter link. For access or deletion requests, email privacy@marijuanafactcheck.com. Identity verification may be required.
